Annuraag Kotla, born in 1998, is a figurative oil painter who works from life. His subjects are drawn from personal observation and lived experience, with each work intended to carry a quiet narrative.

After six years of training in Mumbai with a G.D. art Diploma in Drawing and painting at L.S. Raheja School of Art (2016–2021), he moved to Florence, Italy, to refine his craft within the classical atelier tradition and graduated from the Florence Academy of Art (2025). He approaches painting as a visual language — the artist’s task, in his view, is to translate what is seen rather than to copy it.
