About the Course

In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting in a method very similar to that experienced by our full-time students. The faculty will guide the students to be able to work by themselves and progress in a step-by-step manner.

The study is divided into two types. Studio sessions and Model Sessions. It begins with the teaching of drawing principles, particularly from life and old masters.

Portrait Painting and Figure Painting in Oil

It is recommended that students attend both Drawing and Painting as skill in drawing is considered fundamental to perfection in painting, sculpture, or other art forms. During their free time, students may attend the Academy’s evening short pose exercises.
