Time: 10 am – 5 pm (Break  1–2 pm)Levels/Ages: This workshop is open to all levels, ages 18+.

This three-week course will introduce students to the Academic Methods of training in Drawing & Painting enriching their visual vocabulary and providing a methodology that can be applied to other art disciplines.

The process is influenced by Academic Art, with emphasis on constructive drawing and a deep conceptual and observational understanding of shape and color. The study is divided into Studio Sessions and Model Room Sessions.

Bargue Drawing and Figure Drawing in Pencil

WEEK 2 & 3

Still Life and Figure Painting in Oil

Instruction is by individual critique and frequent class demonstrations.
