For the first time, a prominent Russian artist and professor, formerly an assistant at the Imperial Academy in St. Petersburg, Ivan Loginov, winner of numerous international competitions and exhibitions, comes to Hyderabad, India to host a 30-hour drawing and painting workshop.
 

Ivan's process is influenced by the Russian school, with emphasis on constructive drawing and a deep conceptual understanding of shape and color. He aims for the balance between inner and
outer beauty of human portrait. His success comes from deep understanding of classical school
of thought in painting and drawing. He strives to combine and overlap all his skills in order to
achieve an accurate representation of human soul.

He likes to implement and play with contrasts in color, technique and ideas. Therefore, even in
his large scale history paintings one must find clear massages of present issues in society.

During these 6 days, you will create two works of art under the direction of Ivan: a drawing and a painting of a portrait. Two different models will pose for us during this week. Ivan Loginov will begin the course with a theoretical part, followed by practical exercises and his own demonstration
